Donate to the Typhoon Haiyan Appeal
An estimated 14 million people have been affected by the devastating 600-kilometre-wide typhoon that made landfall on 8 November 2013, causing destruction on an extraordinary scale.
More than 6,000 people have been confirmed killed and more than four million - the equivalent of the population of Melbourne - have been living in temporary shelter. Houses, schools, roads and livelihoods have been wiped out.
CARE is aiming to reach 250,000 people with lifesaving food, shelter and assistance throughout central Philippines.
Your donation will help families urgently in need.

Should the funds raised through an emergency appeal exceed the amount required to meet the immediate and longer term needs of the people in the affected areas, or if there are changes in circumstances beyond CARE’s control which limit its ability to utilise all funds in the affected areas, CARE will direct excess funds to other emergency relief activities in the future.
