Even in Australia, I remember how embarrassing it was, as a child, to have others know it was that time of the month.
Now they will not miss out on nearly a quarter of their schooling, hence they will be able to keep up and lead more productive lives, perhaps even challenging the boys for top positions in future occupations with heightened self-confidence.

Perhaps the boys need educating about menstruation and its effect on girls. Teach boys to be mature!
